ASAS Lab measures collapse index per ASTM D5333 with specialized oedometer testing, quantifies gypsum content layer by layer, and performs SPT with disturbed and undisturbed sampling. Per SBC 303, a geotechnical investigation must include: exploratory borings, Standard Penetration Test SPT (ASTM D1586), grain size analysis (ASTM D422), and Atterberg limits (ASTM D4318). High-rise buildings and critical facilities require additional tests such as CBR and Plate Load.
